011 - I do not want to fill in player ratings for every league match, do I have to?

A match report including player records is required for all league games. Match reports are optional for friendlies and cup games.

The benefits of taking the time to do this are the amazing statistic pages that Web Teams automatically generates for you. Detailed results, player statistics, goal charts, assist charts, when each goal was scored, individual player pages and so much more come from the details that you fill in for each match.

Additional tips

  • If you do not wish to give each player separate marks then give all players the same mark. For example if the team played badly, give each player a 4 out of 10 and then maybe the player of the match a 5 out of 10.
  • You do not have to award a player of the match for every game.
  • If you play in small sided games where you regularly get large results, make sure you scribble down all of the details on paper immediately after the match.
  • If you don't want to pick the man of the match yourself, then perhaps ask the referee at the end of the game or the opposition's manager to choose.
