017 - What happens to my site at the end of the season? Frequently asked questions | previous | next Please note that the archiving service is only available for customers who have paid for their Web Teams site. 017.1 What happens to my site? | 017.2 When can I archive? | 017.3 What if I am a 5aside team? 017.1 What happens to my site? For traditional UK style football seasons then the recommended approach is to archive your site at the end of the season. This will take a read only copy of your entire site and place it in a sub folder so you can continue to view the data online. After archiving your site you will be taken back to the team entry process where you can fill in the details for the upcoming season. This is also an excellent opportunity to remove squad members who have left the club and edit the teams in your league. Your archived data from previous seasons is integrated into your main website. Figure 2 and Figure 3 below show the archived information from previous seasons on the previous seasons page and a player page.
Archiving is only available in the summer. Outside of this period you must reset your site to start again. Prior to resetting your site you may export the data from your site through the reports feature.
017.3 What if I am a 5aside team? It should be noted that for 5aside teams and teams playing in non-UK style seasons the archive feature is probably not suitable. For further information on our data storage policy please see our terms and conditions. |
