We use Google site search for our search engine. The strengths of this are that it is built on the Google technology and user friendliness that is famous around the world.

Unfortunately, it does take a few weeks from signing up for your site to get registered in the Google index.

To get your site registered with Google as quickly as possible you should:

• Update your site at least every two or three days (add news items!)

• Get your friends to link to your site through any web pages they might have

• Post your web address on any discussion forums that you may participate in

Before you know it you will be in the Google index and not just visible to anyone doing a search within Web Teams - but also anyone searching on the Internet across the world!
