*Abba Athletic were formed in 1997 in memory of a keen young footballer who tragically died in a motor accident.
*His father Tony Bagnall decided to form the club in his memory and is still chairman to this day.
*Abba Atheltic consist of a saturday team and a sunday morning team.
*Saturday team founded in 1997. Eric Morris cup winners in 2004 and 2005, Benovlent Cup winners 2009, Jersey league division two winners 2005. Currently playing in Lord Jersey division two.
*Sunday team founded in 2002. Upper thames valley league division three winners 2008. Currently playing in the Upper thames valley league division two.
*R.I.P Andy Sams - ex player, league winner and top scorer and most of all a gd mate. Sorely missed never forgotten.
