Club Details

AC Berkshire was formed in June 2010. Originally Formed as Sunninghill Jaguars in the late 90's, followed by 2 name changes over the past 5 years Squirells FC and more recently AC Woodcutters. After the sad loss of the clubs founder + manager Brian Watt in 2005 the club was taken on by then player Nathan Beer who managed the club through to the end of the 2006/2007 season. After just under 2 seasons at the helm Nathan Beer left the club due to personal circumstances. Following a season away from the club whilst living abroad the club was then taken on by now Manager/Player Dean Werrett + Assistant Robert Prince in June 2007 under the name Squirells FC, and enjoyed a successfull first season in charge where the team achieved joint second place in the 3rd Division of The Bracknell Town + District Sunday league ( Which was the club's Highest League Finish to date ). Following promotion to the 2nd Division the club was offered a sponsorship opportunity by a local bracknell pub "The Woodcutters" which prompted the club's change of name to AC Woodcutters. Since sponsorship ceased during the 2009/10 season AC have now changed to a non sponsor based name ready for the 2010/11 season which will now be the club name for the foreseeable future. AC Berkshire's home games are played at Birch Hill Recreation Ground, Bracknell.
