AFC Torphichen were founded in the Summer of 2009 by a group of friends. We entered into the Livingston and District Sunday Morning League. After each game we go back to the Torphichen Arms in Mid Calder, who have very kindly sponsored us for the last 2 seasons, for much needed food and drinks.

The club had gone from strength to strength since then, appearing in the Division 2 League Cup Final in our first season and managing a comfortable mid table finish.

Season 2010/11 started very well, winning 8 out of our first 10 league games and progressed through to the 4th round of the Scottish Cup. We found ourselves sitting very proudly at the top end of the table and putting up a considerable challenge. Results recently have taken a turn for the worst but we are working hard behind the scene to make sure we get back to winning ways sooner rather than later.
