Club Details

After reforming under the guidance of Player/Manager Andy Baumfield in 2006 Ajax have grown in strength and stature. In the 06/07 season we managed to secure second place in Division 3 which gained us promotion to Division 2.

In the 08/09 season we were scrapping it out with eventual winners Lancing Rangers for the top spot. We were hit with a few injuries in very key areas after the Christmas period and thats when the standards started to drop. Lancing ran away with the league in the last 3/4 games and we managed to slip down to finish 3rd in the league. Last season wasnt a loss though as we managed to reach the league cup final. We had 4/5 big injuries before the game and went in with just 12 players available. After what can only be described as an 'epic' final against a strong Worthing Minors team we won 10-8 on penalties.

The 09/10 season saw us grab the same acheivements as the previous regime. Although winning the league cup again after a great game against Henfield was a definate high point, we also got to experience the County Cup. We went on a brilliant run and got to the Semi-Finals, which, for a Division 2 club is a great feat.
