Ansty Sports FC were formed in 2002 and play in Mid Sussex League with two teams, one in Division 5 and the other in Division 7.
Up until the 2006/2007 season Ansty only had one team. Despite some mid table finishes and some impressive cup results and runs Ansty always managed to hold their own in Div 6. Since the beginning of the 06/07 season there has been a major influx of players, which helped Ansty win the Division 6 title and the Somerville Challenge Cup. The 2006/2007 season also saw the creation of a 2nd team. Despite a poor start, the 2's narrowly missed out on promotion to Division 6 after being pipped by Hartfield in the mini-league format.
