Club Details

Athletico Billericay play in the Chelmsford Invitation League. Athletico were formed in 2001 and gained promotion into the 2nd division in their first season while also reaching the Division 3 Cup Final.

After three seasons in Division 2 and one appearance in the Divisional Cup Final Athletico were promoted into the top league.

Athletico's first year in the top flight proved an enjoyable one, exceeding expectations and securing a respectable 7th in a tough league. In their second season they also came seventh, but the 3rd ended in relegation.

Last year proved to be another frustrating one for the club and despite some decent performances ABFC found themselves in another relegation battle. Victory on the final day of the season however was enough to avoid the drop in dramatic fashion.
