Banbury Spurs play in the top division in the Banbury + District Sunday Morning Football League, affiliated to the OFA. Formed in 1996 on the back of the Banbury Spurs Supporters Club, Banbury Spurs are one of longest serving Banbury Sunday sides. Spurs have won their way through to the top division where they completed a historic treble in season 2004/05. Our legendary end of season tours are worth signing on for alone!!! The side has always tried to play stylish attractive football which has been the basis of the sides principles for the last 10 years. The side has had it's up's + down's up but while others have quit when the going gets tough, Spurs continues to be an integral part of Sunday Morning Footie scene in the Banbury area. COYS! |
