The Stakeford Half Moon are an FA Charter Club who were founded in 1985 and are members of The Morpeth Sunday League, playing in Division One.

Home games are played at West Lea, Netherton Lane, Bedlington, Northumberland and the club headquarters are at Stakeford's Half Moon pub. The club have been presided over by Colin Douglas (Secretary) and Tony Armitage (Manager) for the past three seasons, going from strength to strength. The club now have a strong squad for the coming season which includes a core group of younger players who have developed over the previous seasons to a point where they are now capable of competing and challenging for the title in the top division, following a respectable second placed finish last term as well as a Lewin Cup Final place.
