Bomere Heath F C play in Division 2 of the Shrewsbury and District Sunday League.The club was re formed in 2002/03 under the name of Red Lion F C before changing to its current name in 2003/04 season.
Since re forming the hard work of the committee and the support of the village has seen the club establish a sound financial basis which has helped it develop a brand new pitch adjacent to the Cricket Club.It now boasts facilities which are amongst the best in whole of the League and enjoyed by all visiting teams.
The long term aim of the club is to provide facilities for the youth of the village and progress has already been made with three of the current seasons squad having joined the club straight from junior football.
During the summer months the club holds regular coaching sessions for the juniors in the village. |
