The Britannia Inn play in the Weymouth Sunday League Premier Division. They were formed in 1997 as The Royal Portland Arms playing friendly games before joining the Weymouth Friendly League. In 2004 they won the Weymouth Friendly League and the Dorset Sunday Minor Cup and made the decision to join the Weymouth Sunday League. They won the Division 2 title in the 2004-2005 season, finishing undefeated and gained promotion to the Weymouth Sunday League Division 1, which is now the Premier Division. In 2006 the club reformed as The Britannia Inn.
