Chryston AFC was established in 1982-83 season by William King and Samuel McInnes.
The club, now celebrating their 28th year in amateur football have grown gradually from strength to strength over the years.

Having recently been invited to join the Central Scottish AFL in 2003/04 which is proudly hosting most of the top amatuer clubs in scottish football at present, Chryston are at the peak of their 5 year restructuring period which will hopefully see them gain promotion into the elite premier league of which a club of Chryston's size duely deserves.
