The club was formed in the summer of 1995 as a result of three friends, Richard Sparkes, Paul Gibbons + Steve Young, wanting to create a team for Canvey Island supporters to play in. This unofficial Canvey Island Supporters Club (hence the K!) team was also boosted by gaining players from the disbanding Knightswick F.C. From 1995 to 2009 the club operated 1 team, but from 2009 to present 2 have been in operation.
