Clarence FC play in the Wirral Sunday League Premier Division and have previously been known as Peggy Gadflys, Farmers Arms Frankby and Sandridge.

Since their inception in 2005 the club has steadily improved after struggling to 13th and then 11th place finishes they managed an excellent 4th place in 07/08. In 2008/09 under the new name of Farmers Arms Frankby they again finished 4th missing out on promotion by a single point.

2009/10 season saw the club return to a New Brighton base as Peggy Gadflys and this year saw a 4th place finish enough to secure promotion to Division 1, this was then followed up with a succesive promotion the following year with a superb 2nd place finish.

Now under the name of the Clarence, they will play in the Premier Division of the Wirral Sunday League for the 1st time.

Clarence play there home games at Coronation Park in Geasby and wear red + white striped home shirts, black shorts and socks and yellow + black striped shirts, black shorts + socks as a change kit.
