Coombs Wood Colts were formed in 2003 and have played competitively together since the 2004/5 season. Initially two teams, Coombs Wood North and Coombs Wood South, they played in SDYFL Division 3 (North) and Division 4 (South). However, at the end of the 2004/5 season, Coombs Wood North folded and, while most of the players dispersed, some players joined Coombs Wood South for the 2005/6 season in SDYFL Division 4. For the 2006/7 season, the suffix 'South' has been dropped, with the team competiting as Coombs Wood Colts. This season, following an expansion of the League, we will play in the SDYFL Division 5 Under 10's. |
