Coombs Wood Colts were formed in 2003 and have played competitively together since the 2004/5 season. Initially two teams, Coombs Wood North and Coombs Wood South, they played in SDYFL Division 3 (North) and Division 4 (South). However, at the end of the 2004/5 season, Coombs Wood North folded and, while most of the players dispersed, some players joined Coombs Wood South for the 2005/6 season in SDYFL Division 4. For the 2006/7 season, the suffix 'South' has been dropped, with the team competiting as Coombs Wood Colts. This season, following an expansion of the League, we will play in the SDYFL Division 5 Under 10's.For the 2007/8 season coombswood colts has changed it,s name to halesowen harriers, with both andrew the team manager and barry the coach stepping down we all wish them the best of luck and a big thank you for all they have done. |
