Upwey + Broadwey FC Reserves play in the Dorset Saturday Leagues Division Two.
They were formed in 2007 as the Duke of Albany Football Club by joint managers Luke Tomlin + Jamie Spivey and were admitted to the Weymouth Sunday Football League Championship Division at the start of the 2007/08 campaign.
In their inaugral season, they secured promotion to the Premiership after winning the league and also went on to win the Len Mahoney Cup, knocking out five Premiership teams along the way. The Albany also won a 5 a-side tournament during pre-season and started the new campaign by beating last years Premiership champions Belvedere FC 7-0 in the Shaun Taylor Charity Shield.
At the end of the 2008/10 season it was decided that the team should apply for the new Dorset Saturday Leagues and that they would join forces with the highly successful Upwey + Broadwey FC.
Their home pitch is at Redlands Community Sports Hub.
The reserves team colours are: Red + black striped shirts, white shorts and white socks.
