Easington CIU Over40s were formed in 2008 and completed their first season in the Sunderland and district over 40s league in the 2008/09 season and won the 4th division title by a staggering 20pts with a goal difference of 94 which was the highest in all five leagues.
They followed that by winning the 3rd division title in 2009/10 once again having the greatest goal difference in the whole leagues a fantastic achievement. In our 3rd season we finished as runners up in the league but won the 2nd division league cup.
Easington play their home games at the Welfare Park, their home strip is black and blue stripes, black shorts and black socks.
The second strip is all maroon. |
