Elmbridge Old Boys FC play in the Cheltenham League Division 4, formed in 2003 the club won promotion from Divison 5 in only the second season and narrowly lost the league cup final in 2005 after a replay. After several close efforts the club finally gained promotion from Division 4 to 3 in 2009. The club name heralds from the Elmbridge Junior School in Gloucester which was attanded many years ago by the majority of players, sponsored by Olbas Oil and supported by The Double Gloucester pub (Cheltenham Road, Gloucester) the team benefits from excellent ground and training facilities based in the city of Gloucester at Gloucester Academy. |
