The club was formed in 2007 by Steven Bradshaw with the help of Ian Moore (who is now on the playing staff).
Our debut season ended with disappointment despite playing good football we still finished bottom of a very strong division 5.
At the end of our first season our name changed from Rachells FC to R+K FC due to a sponsorship deal.
Our second season was a big improvement finishing 4th in Division 6 and reaching the Mansfield Cup Quarter-finals.
2009/10 season was our best by successfully being crowned Division 5 champions and reaching both the League and Notts cup semi-finals.
Last season the club gained promotion for a 3rd successive season by finishing 3rd in Division 3. At the end of this season the club changed its name to Forest Tavern following a new sponsorship deal.
This season Forest Tavern will be playing in Division 1.
We play our Home games on Healdswood no1 pitch.
We are sponsored by Forest Tavern Public House in Skegby.
