Club Details

Mount Gould were formed in the early Seventies and have been one of the most succesful local sides in Plymouth. Their home pitch is at Tothill Enclosure which is a council run pitch which we have named the Fortress . We have won many trophy's and our current award list is as follows :- Combination League Winners 1988/89 , 1992/93 , 1995/96 + Runners Up 1991/92 , 1993/94 + 1994/95 , Combination Charity Cup Winners 1985/86 + 1988/89 ,Combination Premier Cup Winners 1986/87 + 1988/89 + Runners Up 1989/90 . The league was Inaugurated to the P + D Combination League from 1996/97 season onwards so we were the last team to win the old Combination League Title. In the new P + D Combination League we have won the league on two occassions in 2001/02 + 2002/03 and come Runners Up in 1996/97 + 1997/98 , Premier Cup Winners 1993/94 , 1997/98 , 2001/02 + Runners Up 1991/92 , 2002/03 and in the George Gillin Cup we were Cup winners in 1994/95 , 1996/97 + Runners Up 1992/93 , 1995/96 . The league again Inaugurated in 2004 and is now known as the Plymouth + West Devon Combination League and we also changed our name due to new sponsors in 2005/06 and are now called Friary Vaults MG FC where in our first season we came third in the league and lost the George Gillin Cup on penalty's and got to the Quarter Finals of the Devon Premier Cup.
