After winning promotion back to the Premier Division in the 2003/04 season, Our very sucsessfull Youth Team Manager Simon Williams was promoted to First Team Manager for the new 2004/05 season. Williams who once Managed the West Midlands Representive side to a 3-0 win against a Welsh F.A select side, lead us to one of our best Premier League finishes for 20 years finishing in a creditable 10th position, also that season reaching the League Cup Semi Finals, narrowly losing out to League Champions Tipton Town 2-1 over two legs, with a squad mainly made up of Youth Team players from the season before and a couple of retained First Team players. 2005/06 was a great season for us finishing as runners up to Market Drayton, in what was a very tough and long season. For us to go one better in the 2006/07 season we had to finish top of the table, after spending most of the season in the top two it looked a real possibilty we good do it. But with a couple of players leaving the club on transfer deadline day and a number of injurys to key players we lost our way and let it slip over the last few weeks of the season.Could it be our season 2007/08 lets hope so.
