Club Details

Grindon Rangers play in the Russell Foster under 14`s Premier Division.

Established in 2000, playing in the Russell Foster Small Sided Football League as Grindon Rangers.

2001 saw the Introduction of Grindon Rovers in preparation for the transition to 11 a-side.

In 2002 along with Plains Farm we were the first youth team in the North East to be awarded the FA Club Standard Charter.

2003 Rangers and Rovers mini soccer teams were amalgamated to form the current 11-a-side team, "GRINDON RANGERS".

In 2004 we were Premier League Runners up and Chairmans Shield winners ( League Cup).

In 2005 we had a memorable season by becoming the Durham F.A County Cup Champions, League Cup Winners (2nd Time) and Premier League Runners - Up.

In 2006 we successfully clinched the Premier League Title as well as representing the City of Sunderland in Italy, playing Juventus and Torino Youth Acadamies and District side Giaveno.

2007 produced another successfull year for RANGERS with the Russell Foster Premier League Title and also the League Cup (3rd Time). Once again we were abroad this time representing Sunderland in Holland against OJC Rosmalen and Den Bosch Youth Academies
