Club Details

Henley YMCA play in the Reading and District Sunday Football League.

Current Manager Phil Budd formed Henley YMCA Sunday Reserves and was appointed by ex club secretary Paul Trimmings and ex first team manager Ron Davies back in 1999-00 season and the reserves started off in Div 1 of The Trophy Factory Friendly League.

After Joining the Reading Sunday League Division 4 in 2001-02 the team won promotion to Division 3 central and has steadily improved over the past 3 seasons in that division.

Henley YMCA's 2 sides then divided and the reserves became the first team for the 2002-03 campaign and after struggling in their first season Division 3 Central and the first part of the 2003-04 season they managed to win 18 points in early 2004 to pull themselves up to mid table by the close of the 04 season and avoid relegation.

The 2005-2006 season saw all the hard work finaly paid off and we finished 2nd and promoted to Division 2 central where we currently reside today.

The 2006-07 finished strongly with a 3-0 derby win over Henley Town res.

For 2007-2008 3 new strikers have been signed along with 3 new midfield players to improve the squad.
