Heswall FC was formed in 1891, and its ground, Gayton Park, nestles in the green belt of Heswall and Gayton.

The Club has two teams playing in the West Cheshire AF League in divisions 1 and 2.

The Club also has an under 18 Youth Team playing in the Wallasey + District League.

The Club also has a Junior section whose teams play in the Eastham League.
