Inny Wanderers Football Club was such named in recognition of the Inny river which flows alongside the village of Coole, while Wanderers represents the surrounding rambling countryside.
The Club Home Strip is yellow and black and the Away Strip is red and white candy stripe. The foundation of the Inny Wanderers Crest is a bridge over the river Inny. The swan represents the connection between Coole and the Children of Lir 'Clann Lir'. According to local folklore Lir's four children spent 400 years on Lough Derravaragh while under a spell cast by their jealous stepmother. The turettes at the top of the crest are representative of local historical structures such as Tullynally Castle, the Franciscan Friary at Multyfarnham and the ruins of Fore Abbey.
As a small developing club we welcome any new players ,supporters or interested parties that can help improve and establish our club.
