Home ground: carters field batley jardys fc birstall were formed in 2008 from the team left over from welly wanderers,they play from jardys sports bar under the coop in birstall, they play in the spen valley division 1 league.in the 2008/09/season they won promotion to the premier league having gone all season unbeaten only dropping 2 points along the way.on top off that they got to 1 quarter final and 3 finals losing 2 and winning 1 the match ball trophy In the 2009/10 season they moved pubs half way through the season to the oakwel motel losing one game in the league they lost the title by one point to finish runners up in the premier league and getting to both cup finals winning 1 the sonder cup and losing in the spen valley cup final for the second year running now were going into our 3rd season 2010/11 as oakwell fc |
