Currently playing in the Coronation Premier leagues top division we have recently formed a new partnership with our good friends Kingshurst St George. St George enjoyed many years of Silver ware in the South Birmingham league under the ownership of Steve and Geoff. St George and St Annes are two teams who know each other very well over the years. In our first season together we reached two Qtr finals and finished 3rd just falling short at the end due to injuries and lack of players for midweek games. This season has seen another name change due to sponsorship we will be known as Kingshurst Punchbowl F.C a new chapter in our history. The name St Annes has been taken over by the original founder of St Annes / Jungle.com FC Ian Bancroft who will be assisted by Sean Abrahams. The team consists of players whom formally played for Kingshurst St George and St Annes over the years with a little luck im sure they can bring some silver ware home. Another year in the history of the newly formed Kingshurst Punchbowl a comfortable 4th place finish and a Coronation Cup final defeat. If this team was a book then it would easily be on its fourth addition now with another chapter being wrote when an agreement was reached early to merge with Kingshurst Sporting. Punchbowl FC will start another chapter when they play in Festival prem. The Khurst Sporting boys had a great season losing finalist in league cups, winners of County cup and for 2nd year running champions of the festival prem. So with this partnership we look to write some more history. !! |
