Club Details

Kilwinning Girls play in the SFA South West Premier League.

They were League champions in 2008 also winning the League Cup.

In 2009 they were champions again also winning the Ultimatch Cup in Wales, Prestwick cup, the Kilwinning Invitational Cup and are the were Under 13's Scottish champions having won the Scottish Cup in June 2009.

2010 saw the girls end up runners up to Hamilton in the league. And remained the only team to beat Hamilton with an 8-2 thumping in the League cup final. The long season, and playing in various tournaments around the UK seemed to take its toll on the girls during the second half of the season. Losing out to an East Kilbride team that should have not caused them any problems was the shock result of the season. Chance after chance went a begging during this game and the urge to push forward ultimately cost them dearly. Although Kilwinning ended up runners to the surprise of many, the football played at times was outstanding and received plaudits from many managers and teams alike, including a very complimentary West Ham Team at the Keele tournament. During the summer, the girls went on to retain their SCI Umbro Ultimatch title and the Keele cup. Both tournaments saw the girls undefeated in all tournament games in 2010

2011 will see a new team with many of the old guard moving on to fresh challenges and we wish them well. The 2011 team will have their work cut out to follow the previous teams but we wish them well and are confident they can deliver.
