Lighthouse Lions were formed in 2005 as a church outreach of Lighthouse Baptist Church and admitted into the WMCFL in 2008.
Their first season in division 3 resulted in a creditable 5th place. Because of the influx of 6 new teams into the league, Lighthouse are promoted to Division 2 for the 2009-10 season. Lighthouse start season 2010-11 in Division 2 after finishing 8th. Season 2010-11 seen us finish 3rd in Division 2 and promotion to division 1.
