Two successive promotions have seen somewhat of a revolution take place in recent years, under the guidance of Ashley Hawkins the club have had a Meteoric rise from a lowly placed Div 5A side to a side competing for the title in Div 3A. With Ashley Hawkins (also known as 'Gash') in charge the world was Litlington's Oyster.
However 2007/08 Season started poorly and never got any better, players leaving resulted in Litlington often fielding 10 players. In the end the inevitable happened and Litlington were relegated.
2008/09 Season see Litlington regroup as a side and new faces added to the set up. The club finished mid table and hope they have laid the foundations for a solid 2009/10 campaign.
Now in 2010/2011 new manager Marco Lorenzetto is at the helm after long standing manager Ashley Hawkins had decided to step down for personal reasons. Lets hope we can improve on last year and take the club forward under this new regime |
