Menheniot Rangers is a brand new under 10s 7-a-side football team in SE Cornwall, established in the summer of 2011 out of a rekindled Menheniot Youth FC.
Matches and summer training are held at Menheniot Primary School. Menheniot Sports Association kindly allows use of its pavilion and changing facilities, with winter training on its astropitch.
Rangers meet for weekly training, with East Cornwall Youth Football League fixtures most weekends. Says John Joyce, coach, ‘There’s a lot of talent in the squad and we’re all looking forward to a great season. We are here to enjoy ourselves and be competitive, which is important at this age.’

TO FIND US heading towards Plymouth on A38, 5 mins after Liskeard turn off A38 at MENHENIOT JUNCTION, by Hayloft restaurant. Signposted to Menheniot, Doddycross, Adrenalin Quarry, Kartworld. Go past station, continue for about a mile into village. On entering village centre, fork right at memorial cross by church. Continue 200m. Go past village hall on your right then turn right into school/sportsfield then follow directions for parking. Look forward to seeing you. |
