Merriott Rovers play in the Premier division of the Perry Street and District League. We are unsure of the date of the formation of the village club but we have a team photo from their 1913-14 season so i guess we can soon celebrate our centinary year.
The club has only one side at the moment as our 2nd XI folded last season through a lack of players.
We have enjoyed much success over the last five decades with our greatest moment coming in the mid 90's by winning the Somerset County Junior Cup and coming runners-up in the 2006-07 season. |
