Home ground: Grove Farm (when the County Ground is already in use) Nottingham Medics 2nds played for many years in the Nottingham University inter-murial league. After a successful 2006/07 season, Nottingham Medics 2nds were admitted to EMPAL Division 4. After one season in the EMPAL league we were promoted to the 3rd division. A tough season lies ahead.

Tough season indeed (though that may have been a couple of years ago). After an incredible final day's action the 2s narrowly avoided plunging into the Unibond Conference North-Eastern Division (I think) on goal difference. And thus retained our league 3 prestigious status.
Some would see this as a dissapointment - but what with our wonderful performance in NAMS to boot this is just a springboard into the Tom Rutter era for (almost certain?) promotion in the 2010/11 season |
