Club Details

Home ground: Palmer Park, Wokingham Rd, Reading, Berkshire. RG6 1LF

Purple Turtle Football Club was founded in the mid nineties by players that frequented the Purple Turtle Bar in Reading.

With sponsorship from the bar the club entered the Reading and District Sunday League in Division 4 East with Ian Perry as player manager.

In season 1998-99 ex player Rob Gracey took over the reins, after having to retire from playing due to injury, and has since guided the club to three league promotions and two cup finals.
