The Quarrendon Royals were formerly known as the Dairymaid and were renamed in 2009. The Royals in 2009/10 started superbly notching up some early victories but then faded away from the top end of the league and finished a respectable 6th. The Royals went into the 2010/11 season with mist descending on the squad with management and squad unrest eventually leading to key characters leaving for pastures new and despite a brave fightback in the last 2 months of the season after a poor first few months the Royals were relegated to Division 2 on goal difference. The Royals are embarking on there 3rd season and will want to revitalise there fortunes and embark on a successful 2011/12 campaign. |
