Roade Football Club is located on the outskirts of Northamptonshire. The club run both adult and youth teams on Saturdays and Sundays.
The adult Saturday sides play in the Northants Combination with the 1st team and Reserves in there respected Premier Division.
Having won both the League and Cup in the North Bucks Prem Division in 2002-03 season while going the whole season unbeaten. The Club moved to the Northants Combination League in the 2003-04 season, after a number of protests from other clubs as they felt we should have started in Div 1 and not the Prem we finished 2nd. We lost the league by having 3pts deducted for playing an unregistered player.
2004-05 saw a number of players leave the club and it had a huge impact finishing one place above the relegation zone. |
