Club Details

Sacriston Cricket Club FC play in the Stephy Coaches League Third division after finishing second in our first season in the fourth division. We were formed in 2005. The manager of the club is Richard Hilton. Telephone number of the clubhouse is 0191 3710496. Any further questions please email me at Bryanpotts@hotmail.com

The players of Sacriston are all local players living in Sacriston, Witton Gilbert, and Langley Park. All of the players know each other socailly very well. It all started during the last few years playing football on the astroturf up Fyndoune on a Monday night from 7-8pm. About 18 regulars play and are still playing every Monday. And then Richard Hilton had an idea to form a team, and here we are now. Most of the squad went to Fyndoune, actually 20 members of the squad attended the school and the others attended St Leonards. So it is of a complete local team.

The ambitions of the club is too move up and up the leagues during the years and for all the players to stick together.
