Club Details

Home ground: Silksworth Memorial Ground SR3 1AX

Silksworth Rangers play in the Wearside League.

Originally formed as a youth team Grindon Rangers in 2000, playing in the Russell Foster League from under 9's to under 16's.

In 2009 the club changed names to Herrington Grindon Rangers, and competed in the Durham County u18's League.

In 2011 continued their natural progression, and were elected into the Wearside League, now known as Silksworth Rangers.

A remarkable achievement, as several of the players fron 2000, are still with the club !!!
