South Leeds Utd play in the Leeds Sunday Combination League Second Division and were formed in the year 2000. Previously most of the team played for Glen Juniors at under 16 level. They spent five seasons in the Leeds Sunday League, the highlight of which was the Division Two title sucess in the 03/04 season. Souths moved to the Leeds Combination league last season and struggled to field teams necessary to compete at this level, until several new players were recruited in the last two months of the season.
South Leeds play their home games at Millshaw,Elland Road with changing rooms on the ground. The ground is served by the No 51 bus from the city centre. |
