Club Details

Wagon Athletic FC were created in 2009 by Craig Hotchkiss and Ben Gough who also manage as well as playing for the team.

Despite originally being called Steam Wagon FC, this soon has to change due to league rules stating that when two teams playing from the same pub the newest team have to re-name themselves, which is when Wagon Athletic came about.

The clubs home strip this season is a full royal blue kit based on the very popular Brazil kit of the early 00's. Wagons home kit of last year consisting of red and white checks will now be there away kit.

The club were sponsored by Dre Chatered Accountants with the company name on the away kit and traning jackets, but the club have yet to find a sponsor for this year.

The team play from The Steam Wagon public house in the grange.

After forming in the current 09-10 season, the Wagon went on to finish 6th in there first full season gaining promotion beacuse of such a large amount of new teams entering the following season. They were also semi finalists in the SHB Management Trophy before being knocked out by Minsterley follwing a brave performance at such a tough location.
