Home ground: Plymyards 3 The George currently play in the Wirral Sunday League Division 1. They were formed in 1999 under the name of Riverside Town FC by Dave Barry whilst drunk one night in Liverpool but over time the club has had new sponsers and have played under the name The Carlton FC during the 08/09 season and once again this season has brought a new sponser to the club which is The George in Bebington. Last season the club has been taken over by our former brick wall in defence Robbie Jones and his brother Mark jones and we are hoping to have a good season on the back of a strong finish to the last season. |
