The Grosvenor football club are a team made up from the local community that enjoys a sly tipple at The Grosvenor in Caversham.
The Grosvenor F.C was founded in 2010 and at present they graze the green flat pitches at Mapledurham playing fields each Sunday morning. The Grosvenor F.C are part of the Reading + District Sunday Football League Division 4 East.
1st season in saw them propping up the league but due to great characteristics of the team they are confident of a good 2nd season.
The Grosvenor F.C are a team that has a friendly well bonded atomsphere with a wide variety of players that range from 17-51 years of age, and has a good strong following of supporters who are on show through rain or shine.
The team at present consists of 22 players and are managed by Tom Mann with player/coach John Wiley.
We have a captain marvel in the form of Chris Corke who is also club Chairman. With Dave Small as treasurer and Carey Simmonds as Club Secretary we have a strong head of committee to keep the clubs affairs in place.
