Tornados play in the Premier Division of the Islington Midweek League, a well run and competitive amateur league with three officials for every game. Match days are on Wednesday or Thursday evenings on good astro pitches at Market Road N7 (KO 6pm or 8pm).
The club was formed in 2003 and won promotion into the premier division. The only major trophy won until now is the FA London Junior Cup in 2006/2007. We are now looking to strengthen to compete in our league for more success.
We train on Mondays 7pm til 9pm. Pre-season starts in mid-July and the season at the start of September. The team encompasses a broad range of ages, and we come from a diverse background - from across the UK and around the world.
Our training is 'practice play' based (NO DRILLS). We coach on technique and pattern of play which we expect players to take on board - as we aim to play an intelligent passing game!
