Club Details

Torpedo play in the Bristol Downs League and run three sides who play in the 1st, 3rd and 4th division. They were formed in 1966 as Park Street Wanderers This initial name seemed appropriate as at the time, most of the members worked in the Bristol Workshops for the Blind, which was in Park Street.

It was also at this time that connections with the workshops were lost, so it was decided that the club would adopt a new name and as Torpedo Moscow were doing well in Europe, the name became Torpedo.
