Club Details

Tenbury United was first established in 1879 and is the oldest known club in the county of Worcestershire. Tenbury had its most successful season in 1952 winning the Tenbury Hospital Cup, Tenbury Shield, Lady Magnus Alcoft Cup and were also crowned League Champions.

Tenbury joined the West Midlands Regional League for the 2003/04 season where they finished 6th in division 1. They were moved into division 2 for the 2007/08 season due to facility problems and are still currently playing in this league.

During the 2010/11 season Tenbury reached the WMRL Div 2 League Cup Final for the first time in the clubs history. The club finished runners up in the final and 7th in the league.

The Palmers Meadow ground dimensions are 101m (111.5yds) x 65.5m (71.5yds). This is equivalent to the Reebok Stadium of Bolton Wanderers and is longer than Liverpool’s Anfield and 50% of the other Premiership Clubs.
