Upham F.C are a small side from a village near Winchester, whose first XI play Senior Football in the Magnata Care Hampshire League 2004 and the Reserve XI in the Southampton Football League Junior Division 4
In 1974 a small group of spirited villagers began the current Upham F.C and established its home in the heart of Upham village on arable land kindly donated by local landowner Mr Tommy Steele. The villagers set about removing flints from the pitch by hand to make it playable and the players changed in a disused barn. Since those days the flints have gone but the spirit and passion still remain.
After a successful period in Junior Football playing in the Winchester and District League where they won a total of 7 trophies in 3 years, this 2010/11 season will see Upham F.C First XI returning to Senior Football playing in the Magnata Care Hampshire League 2004
As a result of this Upham First XI will be playing their home games at Swanmore Recreation Ground while Upham's own Ray's Farm Ground is undergoing and exciting refurbishment so that Senior Football can return to the village of Upham from the 2011/12 season onwards.
