Upminster Raiders were formed in 2006. The boys all play for Upminster rugby club on a sunday. Our first season we played in the Chelmsford Youth League and we had a great debut season,last season 2007-2008 we were not in a league due to the boys rugby commitments on a Sunday so we played a season of "friendlies". Our home pitch is Upminster Rec.

We entered a few summer tournaments and were reasonably successful, but it's not all about winning the club tries to promote good sportsmanship and excellent behaviour on and off the pitch.

The boys are encouraged to pass and move and learn good footballing habits at an early age.
